Our Trip to Cartersville and Lake Allatoona

We drove north from Atlanta to this small town where we saw an art show. After looking over the art and eating lunch we took a walk around the town visiting a couple of antique shops.

This Hudson was parked outside one of the antique shops, it was not for sale.

A short distance north of Cartersville we came across Lake Allatoona. We drove around the lake and over the bridge that crosses over the lake and found a marina. Turns out they rent boats by the day or by the hour so we rented a speed boat for an hour and went on a boating excursion.

All of the was fun and good but we still did not fulfill my quest to find the Georgia peach trees.
